Girl in Pink

Playing Marbles

I tried coloring a black and white photo by using the variations tool and pen tool for selections.
Worked very well except for the foreground. It is a good technique.

Les Filles de Cadiz - Léo Delibes

This is a very early Jane Powell movie. My Mother made an outfit for me that was inspired by the one Jane is wearing in this scene.

Sylvia and Father Age 1-2

My Father,Don Smith, started a tradition when I was one year old. We had our picture taken together each year on my birthday. He got the idea from a feature in a LIFE magazine. It is great to have these comparisons from year to year. I grew up in Grant,NE and Cozad,NE. A few pictures were taken in Greeley,CO as my parents went to summer school there.
