First Oil Painting in Years!

I finally got back into working with oil paints and I am enjoying the experience. I took an old photo as a subject with two boys dressed as clowns. The painting is not finished, but I decided to put it on my Blog so you can see how I am coming along.

My Doll House

This house was built by my late husband and is my legacy. He started it thirty years ago and worked on the house off and on since then. The house has electricity, tubes for water,a dumb waiter, ceiling fans, fireplaces, curved staircases and rooms on both sides of the house. It has more furniture now than in these pictures, There are also closets with hangers for clothes and book cases in the library.

80rh Birthday--1930's Style

This picture is rather amusing if you look at the boy in the back of the picture. He looks quite contemporary compared to all the ladies! My Mother is in the picture as "me"..... Clothing is intersting also. This picture was taken in the late 1930's in Grant,NE....
